When we opened Manny's Woodworkers Place 30 years ago in Lexington Ky, "Fine Woodworking" was the only periodical dedicated to the craft of woodworking and Sam maloof had made his first rocker.  Initially we made custom furniture and sold tools in our showroom.  Our tool business really expanded when we started exhibiting at the woodworking shows from New Jersey to Los Angeles in the 80's.  It is gratifyng to have woodworkers greet us at the shows and inquire about what's new in tools.  We have found these shows are a great way of finding out what woodworkers are looking for.  They have provided us with the inspirations for many tools you will find on our site that are available only from us.  We invite your comments and suggestions.  We will even be glad to talk to you on the phone and invite you to stop by our retail outlet in Lexington Ky.
